Credit markets practitioners, blockchain engineers, and institutional product builders
Four people with direct experience in the systems Capkindle is replacing — and the technical depth to replace them properly.
The founding team
Capkindle was built by people who spent years inside the institutional credit markets infrastructure. The founding team brings together four disciplines that tokenization requires in equal measure: credit markets, blockchain infrastructure, product development, and debt capital markets distribution.
Where each founder comes from
Marcus Whitfield — credit markets and strategy
Ex-Goldman Sachs Credit Alternatives group, where he spent three years structuring and distributing mid-market private credit instruments across a range of fund LP structures. Columbia Business School MBA. Before building Capkindle, Marcus managed the back-office coordination burden that the platform now automates — twelve counterparties per close, six weeks per deal.
Ishaan Mehrotra — blockchain infrastructure and compliance engineering
Ex-Chainalysis, where he worked on on-chain transaction monitoring and compliance tooling for institutional clients. NYU Stern CS/Finance dual degree. Ishaan designed Capkindle's ERC-3643 tokenization engine, the on-chain KYC whitelist contract architecture, and the compliance attestation storage layer that satisfies transfer restriction requirements at the smart contract layer.
Adaeze Mbeki — institutional product development
Ex-Blackstone product organization, where she worked on LP-facing digital tools and fund reporting infrastructure across private equity and credit fund vehicles. Harvard Business School. Adaeze leads product at Capkindle, with responsibility for the investor portal design, the fund administrator workflow integrations, and the overall platform UX for both issuer and LP roles.
Henrik Solberg — debt capital markets and distribution
Ex-Jefferies Debt Capital Markets group, where he worked on private placement distribution for investment-grade and high-yield credit issuers across the US and Nordic markets. Columbia Law School JD. Henrik leads business development at Capkindle, focusing on credit fund manager relationships and the regulatory positioning required for Reg D and Reg S compliant tokenized offerings.
